Lookaround
We are very lucky in Sedbergh to have a monthly publication called the Lookaround. It comes out on the 1st of every month, and is packed full of articles by local groups, details of upcoming events, and adverts for local businesses and services. It may seem a little antiquated to put pen to paper and write a letter to your local rag. But that’s how I roll. Okay my weapon of choice was a keyboard rather than a biro, but I did it and yeah I’d do it again!
Top tips for letter writing to newspapers:
- Keep it short
- Don’t swear
- End with a rhetorical question?
